This log home’s layout has a rear and side entry that accommodates a sloping lot very nicely. The walk-out-basement was designed for storage and mechanicals. This home has the ability to work as a one-floor living space with a bedroom located on the main floor. There is an additional bunkroom for guests and family in the overhead loft. We are seeing many clients choosing plans with limited bathrooms to help keep the seasonal home affordable and with less maintenance. This is especially true when there are only two homeowners going to their camp. One of my clients said, “unless my kids or the guests pay for the mortgage, there will be no extra bathrooms or individual bedrooms!”
